How is the Video Player integrated into a website?

Once the Player has been designed and built a client’s current web developer will either:

• Create a new page on the client’s current website (e.g. called ‘Videos’). The player is then introduced to this new page through a method such as an HTML iFrame.
• Introduce a new link to a page where the player opens in it’s own window.

Off-the-Shelf Video Players

Instead of a custom built player it may make sence to utilise one of the many off-the-shelf Video Players, otherwise known as Online Video Platforms (OVP) or a user-generated content (UGC) site such as YouTube . Streamstay can provide your organisation with advice and recomendations on the most suitable platform for your needs. Many of these Online Video Platforms also provide content management, advertising functionality, mobile streaming and syndication as features.
