Digital content performance

We believe in working for those with a noble cause, supporting their aims and objectives – those in service to the public, the vulnerable in society, and other organisations that contribute to having a practical and positive impact on the wider world around them.

Our Story

We are a communications consultancy specialising in digital content, its design and application across an organisation and the part it plays in connecting with stakeholders.

Streamstay was established in 2006 by John Clegg and David Warren. We were first-movers in the use of broadcast-quality video content for the hospitality sector, with a successful digital marketing product.

Over the last 15 years,  as a small team of experienced communicators with a strong network of associates and partners, we have built positive, long-standing client relationships.  Delivering for a broad range of clients – providing advice, guidance and ideas, through our transparent and client-centric service.

John runs Streamstay day-to-day and has most recently worked for the UK Government in a non-political role, for the Cabinet Office and No.10 Downing Street.

Better content for public communications

We must excel in effectively reaching the public with important messages in the most considered and appropriate way.

I have always been a champion of trying to create the best digital content possible. This is particularly important for endeavours that aim to have a positive impact on society. After all the time and money that goes into the creation of a new policy, programme of work or project, it is the digital content that most stakeholders first come across. That first opportunity to connect and impress upon them is precious. The opportunity to retain their interest is crucial for the success of any new initiative.

Digital content, its consideration and its creation need to be prominent in the planning and management of public and third-sector communications. Not considered late or a reactive need when the it’s need is realised. Focusing on the inputs of content generation can maximise its benefits and deliver lasting improvements in communications whilst delivering a differentiated position for the content.

My work at the heart of UK Government communications, and over the years, working with charities and educational institutions, has created a depth of experience and expertise, as well as many real-life examples, that support us in the pursuit of our mission to help public and third-sector organisations produce and better manage powerful and persuasive digital content.

Today, building on the great work that public and third-sector institutions deliver, there is an important opportunity to further support and improve their digital content operations – in order to continually improve how they connect with their stakeholders.

We have an open, friendly and straightforward way of working. Approaching each new piece of work with enthusiasm and with its purpose at the forefront, throughout its delivery. Our consultancy service provides valuable insight and foundations for organisations to build capability in their digital content activity.

I hope to be able to work with you to address your content challenges.
